Rear Air Shock + Swingarm Bushings + Shock Mount Bolts Upgrade - FULL KIT

Comprehensive kit to significantly reduce the play, clunks, and rattles in the rear end of the RFN SX series bikes as well as improve the suspension performance and adjustability. 

-  Air shock upgrade to replace the very poor quality OEM shock (fixed rate heavy spring, no lubricated internals, steel-on-plastic top out design, loose fitting bushings). This air shock offers significantly improved suspension action via machined shock body, an actual piston with teflon wear ring, and oiled internals. Excellent bushing fit for clunk/rattle reduction, and infinite spring rate adjustability for our young riders. A very nice shock for the money. These bikes have a unique shock length, with no direct-fit options available, so each shock gets disassembled and shortened to match the OEM static length to maintain OEM geometry. Pressure can be adjusted via Schrader valve using standard bicycle tire pumps, mountain bike shock pumps, etc. Shocks will be delivered at 75 psi/5.2 bar as a starting point. 

- Two CNC machined 7075 T651 aluminum swingarm bushings have a slightly larger O.D. and smaller I.D. to improve fitment of the swingarm axle/bearing/bushing interfaces to minimize clunks and rattles from the rear end of the motorcycle. 

- Two stainless steel shock mount bolts with a shoulder/shank to replace the OEM full length threaded bolts which fit poorly and wear into the shock bushings. Tighter fit helps to further reduce clunks/rattles. NOTE: some RFN SX bikes appear to have been built with shouldered/flanked bolts while others are not. This part of the upgrade may not be necessary if your bike was built with those.
